Nicolas Bürki, is currently a Portfolio Manager / Analyst in the Swiss equity research and portfolio management team at Mirabaud Asset Management. He manages the Mirabaud Fund (CH) - Swiss Equities fund, Swiss Equity mandates and has experience in the asset management industry since 1997. Prior to joining Mirabaud Asset Management in 2005, Mr Bürki worked at Banque Cantonale Vaudoise as Equity Analyst and Manager of institutional multi-manager mandates, and previously at Ernst & Young and Deloitte & Touche as Senior Financial Auditor. Mr Bürki holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Lausanne (HEC). He is a CFA and a CMT charterholder.

Thomas Jäger

From 2006 to 2017, Thomas Jäger worked as an equity buy-side analyst at St.Galler Kantonalbank and since November 2011 he has managed the Swiss equity fund SGKB Aktien Schweiz. Before taking over the management of the Swiss equity fund, Jäger was responsible for analysis of the European and later North American equity markets. Prior to working as an analyst and fund manager, Jäger worked as a portfolio manager for mixed-asset management mandates at St.Galler Kantonalbank. Jäger studied general management at the university of applied sciences in St. Gallen and completed various further training programmes.

Objective

The objective of the fund is to outperform the Swiss Performance Index, which represents the broad investable Swiss equities market, while maintaining a moderate relative performance risk. The investment process is done through an active management style based on fundamental stock analysis in order to create a diversified portfolio representative of the specificities of the Swiss market. The fundamental stock analysis considers quantitative and qualitative aspects of balance sheets as well as the firms strategy, its competitive position, its risks and underlying stocks valuation and potential performance. The fund typically invests in 25 to 50 stocks.
