Arnout Van Rijn was born in the Dutch town of Bloemendaal in 1965. Having studied business and finances in Rotterdam, he started his career at Robeco Netherlands in 1990 as a fund manager. After ten years he moved to Rabo Investment Management Hong Kong where he spent two years as a head of fund desk. In 2002 he re-joined Robeco as a fund manager. Arnout invests in his own strategy, and implements a top down view of his portfolio and a value investment style. Aside from fund management he enjoys listening to music, running and cycling.

Objective

The Sub-fund will take exposure of at least two thirds of its total assets to equities of companies which have their registered office in Asia, Australia or New Zealand, or exercise a preponderant part of their economic activities in that region.
