Philip Brides was appointed co-head of the Investment Solutions Portfolio Management team at UBS Asset Management in January 2017. He is jointly responsible for the oversight of all multi-asset and solution mandates. Brides joined UBS from BlackRock in 2014. He is a member of the CFA Institute and also holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.


The investment policy seeks to achieve an attractive level of earnings in terms of the currency of account, while assuming a moderate degree of risk. Investments will be made over the long term on a broadly diversified basis worldwide, primarily in bonds. The fund mainly invests in cost-efficient investment vehicles worldwide and may also use derivatives. Investments are mainly made using vehicles such as ETFs, index funds, futures, options, other exchange-traded or OTC derivatives or other cost-efficient instruments with the aim of ensuring the cost-efficient character of the fund.
