Anthony Cragg holds both a BA and an MA in English literature from Christ Church College, Oxford. He has over three decades of industry experience starting in the early eighties at Gartmore Investments. He then helped set up Dillon Read International Asset Management before joining Strong Capital in 1993. After over a decade at Strong Capital he joined Wells Fargo in 2005 where he is currently lead portfolio manager of the emerging markets and Asia Pacific equities teams.

Alison Shimada

Alison Shimada is a senior equity analyst and portfolio manager at Wells Fargo Asset management. She joined the firm in 2003 and previously, was an investment officer at UG Regents. She graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, Harvard Business School with a degree in Political Economics and outside of work lists music among her interests.


The fund seeks long-term capital appreciation and current income by investing, under normal market conditions, at least 80% of its total assets in dividend-paying emerging market equity securities across any market apitalisations. Equity exposure is achieved directly through investment in equity securities and/or indirectly through participatory notes, convertible securities, equity linked notes and/or certificates.
