Berenberg Bank (Schweiz) has hired a fixed income investment strategist and a deputy head of asset management, Citywire Switzerland can reveal.
Rene Bolhar took on his new responsibilities at the beginning of November. He was previously a senior portfolio manager at Zuger Kantonalbank, where a replacement for him is yet to be found.
The asset manager also previously worked as a fixed income fund manager at Deutsche Asset Management in Switzerland and Germany.
Bolhar will now report to Maximilian Hefele, head of asset management at Berenberg Bank Schweiz.
The private bank has also hired Juan Duran as a new investment adviser for the active advisory unit.
He is a direct replacement for Karin Salomon, who left the firm last week. Duran will report to head of active advisory Mathias Metzger.
