Blue Orchard has announced the launch of a new Ucits fund, which will become available in the next few weeks.
The Emerging Markets Impact Bond fund will invest in selected frontier and emerging market bonds of corporations including quasi-sovereigns with significant impact activities.
The news comes as Blue Orchard's Luxembourg-based subsidiary company, Blue Orchard Asset Management, received CSSF authorisation to act as a Ucits management company.
Patrick Scheurle, CEO of Blue Orchard, said: ‘The Ucits licence proves our professionalism and institutional quality. It is an important step forward in meeting our clients’ demands for liquid impact investment solutions.'
Blue Orchard is an investment manager funded in 2001 focusing on inclusive and climate-smart growth. At the moment the boutique has six funds.
