Brother of hedge fund activist Bohli exits Credit Suisse

Senior Credit Suisse equity sales executive Christoph Bohli has exited the firm to pursue a career in the tech industry.

This was confirmed to Citywire Switzerland by people familiar with the matter.

He is the brother of Rudolf Bohli, whose hedge fund RBR Capital bought a share in Credit Suisse and offered to break up the private bank into three separate divisions.

However, Reuters reports that Christoph Bohli's departure was unrelated to his brother's recent activities.

Christoph Bohli is currently a member of the board at Volpi, a producer of customised optical measurement modules.

He has also held senior roles in auditing, equity research and sales at Ernst & Young, Bank Sarasin and Berenberg Bank.

Credit Suisse has declined to comment.
