Credit Suisse’s vice-president of international wealth management, Caglar Toprak, will exit the bank in June to join Indosuez Wealth Management.
In his new role, Toprak will monitor private Turkish clients.
The hire is another step in Indosuez’s expansion for 2018. Earlier this year, the firm nominated Bruno Wüst to oversee the financial intermediaries department. He had previously worked at UBS and the Basel Cantonal Bank.
Daniel Furtwängler also joined the company in April to deal with wealthy private clients in continental Europe. He previously worked at Coutts & Co. for 17 years and was managing director at EFG bank in Zurich.
Antonio Caretti joined Indosuez’s Zurich branch in May, having previously served as a customer adviser at the Basel Cantonal Bank.
Patrick Ramsey, Indosuez’s head of wealth management for Switzerland, Middle East and Asia, said: ‘We look forward to accelerating the development of our wealth management business in Zurich and to having the expertise and experience of a strong team.
‘Under the leadership of Frédéric Wuethrich, responsible for the Zurich branch, we expect to achieve our ambitious growth objectives by further strengthening our team.’
The Zurich branch of CA Indosuez (Switzerland) focuses on the development of business relationships with financial intermediaries and on monitoring private clients in continental Europe, the Middle East, Russia and Latin America.
