Fisch AM has launched the FISCH CB Global Dynamic fund, a convertible bond fund that aims to capitalise on opportunities across the entire convertible bond universe.
Ute Heyward and Filip Adamec will manage the strategy. Heyward is deputy manager of the FISCH CB Global Opportunistic fund while Adamec is a former yield analyst.
The managers intend to take advantage of equity- or bond-like securities that areoff investors’ radars. They will use a broad investment spectrum to adjust the portfolio to market conditions.
The fund is aimed at institutional investors and has three accumulating share classes: CHF, EUR and USD.
The strategy, which was launched on 31 May 2018, is distributed in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Fisch AM CEO Philipp Good said: ‘Convertible bonds can keep up with the stock markets in the long term, while at the same time offering lower volatility because they offer protection downwards thanks to the bond component, but allow unlimited participation in the upside potential of the stock markets.’
