RWC Partners has merged veteran equity investor Graham Clapp’s long/short funds.

The RWC Europe Absolute Alpha and RWC Pensato Europa Absolute Return funds were officially merged on 18 June.

RWC’s CEO Dan Mannix said it made sense to merge the funds rather than have two strategies essentially doing the same thing.

BlackRock has liquidated its BSF European Credit Strategies fund after assets fell below a workable level in the Alternative Ucits strategy.

The fund fell to approximately €40 million in assets, which is below the firm’s $50 million (€58 million) threshold at which point the company may consider closing a fund.

Decalia Asset Management has launched its first equity investment fund dedicated to the circular economy.

The Decalia Circular Economy fund invests in products which are recyclable, which favor rental over ownership, and which rely on renewable energies to reduce their environmental impact.

The investment strategy is based around eight themes: the sharing economy and platform-as-a-service, prevention and diagnostics, nutrition, renewable energy and smart grid, waste and recycling, water management, smart and green materials, and Industry 4.0.

GAM has expanded its bond fund range with a new global high yield approach designed to capitalise on the continued appetite for yield among investors.

The new fund, GAM Global High Yield Bond, was launched as a Luxembourg-domiciled fund on 21 June. It will be co-run by Jack Flaherty, who is based in New York, and London-based Johannes Wagner.
