Geneva-based Sesame Financial Group has launched an actively managed certificate (AMC) on education.
The certificate, which is available in euros, US dollars and Swiss francs, invests in a selection of 20 education-related stocks. According to the asset manager, investors will benefit from the increasing spending in the sector.
Sofiane Zaiem will manage the strategy, together with a research team.
Commenting on the launch, a spokesperson for Sesame Financial Group said: ‘We believe that the education industry is entering a golden age of technological innovation, increasing demand for private schools and training in emerging market countries, and more favourable government policies, especially in China with the implementation of a two-child policy.’
The strategy will diversify the allocations both geographically and by sector, moving between the likes of private education networks, modern publishing and digital learning.
Sesame Financial Group was founded by Sofiane Zaiem and is a boutique headquartered in Switzerland. It collaborates with approximately 15 issuers around the world.
