J.P. Morgan Asset Management has brought ETFs to the Swiss stock exchange for the first time, SIX announced on 18 April 2018.
The firm’s offering includes two active ETFs, the first to be listed with SIX in two years.
J.P. Morgan’s four strategies are:
- A diversified investment in very short-term bonds;
- An emerging market debt fund;
- An ETF in euro short-dated government bonds;
- A solution that seeks hedging-like returns through the use of derivative financial instruments.
Head of international ETFs at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Bryon Lake, said: ‘When talking to investors, we found that there was demand for active, smart fixed-income solutions, as well as for strategies with low correlation to the broader market that can help equip portfolios to cope with rising volatility.’
J.P. Morgan Asset Management is the 24th ETF provider on the Swiss stock exchange. After the new addition the number of ETF traded on the SIX has reached a new record of 1,352.
