LGT has launched a multi-asset fund, Citywire Switzerland can reveal.
A spokesperson for the firm confirmed that the strategy is called LGT (CH) Premium Strategy GIM and is managed by Stephan Kind. This is the first Swiss-domiciled fund of this kind.
However the fund manager is already responsible for identical strategies domiciled in Luxembourg and Liechtenstein.
The fund invests in private equity (20%), equities (26%), fixed income (21%), hedge funds (20%), real assets (7%) and insurance-linked strategies (6%).
It follows a long-term investment approach and uses in-house direct investment capabilities as well as selecting best-in-class managers.
Investors can co-invest with the owner family, the Princely Family of Liechtenstein (Prince Philipp von und zu Liechtenstein, who serves as LGT's chairman is pictured) and benefit from the same investment expertise.
LGT Premium Strategy GIM (USD) managed by Kind has returned 10.97% in Swiss franc terms over the last year to the end of March 2017. Its technical indicator, LCI Mixed Asset USD Bal - Global returned, 10.49% over the same timeframe.
