Lombard Odier Investment Managers has created a new role focused on digital innovation and hired François Meunier as equity portfolio manager, the firm announced in a statement.
Meunier will work to find investment opportunities focusing on disruption and innovation across different sectors. He will be based in London and will report to the head of equities, Didier Rabattu.
Before joining Lombard Odier he worked at Morgan Stanley as head of technology equity research for 10 years. He previously worked at J.P. Morgan Cazenove for six years.
Commenting on the hire, Rabattu said: ‘At Lombard Odier we believe a sustainability revolution is under way. Digital disruption and innovation are a key driver of this revolution.
‘François brings a wealth of experience that will help us continue to identify companies that can deliver sustainable excess economic returns for our clients in the long-term.’
