Mirabaud Asset Management has hired Kirill Pyshkin from Aviva Investors to further strengthen its global equity team, the Swiss company has announced.
Pyshkin (pictured) is a global equity income specialist, who previously oversaw two funds during his tenure with Aviva Investors.
He will join Mirabaud’s London-based team under Anu Narula at the start of February.
Pyshkin will work with Narula on all of Mirabaud Asset Management’s global equity products and have primary responsibility for the global equity income fund.
Narula, himself an equity income specialist, joined Mirabaud as its head of global equities from AXA Framlington last summer.
The hire was followed by the recruitment of Dan Tubbs from BlackRock, who now serves as head of emerging markets, as well as bond specialist Andrew Lake (formerly of Aviva) and Fatima Luis (formerly of F&C).
Commenting on the appointment of Pyshkin, Lionel Aeschlimann, partner and head of asset management at Mirabaud, said: ‘Our asset management offering goes from strength to strength, with another high-profile appointment.’
‘To attract people of this calibre reinforces our belief that Mirabaud is making significant inroads in the sector, and will continue to do so.’
Pyskin previously he worked at a number of institutions including Credit Agricole Asset Management (now Amundi), JP Morgan and Sanford Bernstein.
