Fund managed: Kempen (Lux) Euro Credit Fund J
On the Euro corporate bonds scene, Heinie Hakker is one of the latest managers to join the AAA-rated circle.
This is largely down to his management of the Kempen (Lux) Euro Credit fund, which he runs alongside AAA-rated managers Rik den Hartog and Alain van der Heijden, as well as Pim van Mourik Broekman.
The fund has a total fund size of €1,832.87 million as of the end of December 2016 and has a large overweight in banks, which represents 29.8% of the portfolio.
Previously, Hakker has worked for Julius Baer, Metzler and Barclays and has been with Kempen Capital Management since 2008.
Over the three years to the end of December 2016, the Kempen (Lux) Euro Credit Fund J returned 0.26, compared with the benchmark Markit iBoxx Euro Corporates TR, which performed -1.51% over the same period.
