RobecoSAM has appointed two co-CEOs after Aris Prepoudis has decided to step down from his role at the asset management firm, Citywire Selector has reported.
Marius Dorfmeister is currently head of global clients and marketing whilst Daniel Wild is head of sustainability investing research and development. They are both members of the executive committee.
The appointments coincide with the changes to the management structure, designed to strengthen the ties with Dutch asset management firm Robeco.
The two firms have also established a joint team for Trends and Thematic investments. Mark van der Kroft, who joins from NN Investment Partners, will be the head of the new entity.
As part of the changes, portfolio manager Rainer Baumann, current head of investment management at RobecoSAM will step down from the executive committee, as part of the restructuring, but will remain head of investments.
