Talent-spotting secrets: how to stop success turning into stagnation

Success can cause resistance to change but investors must be willing to search for fresh ideas in areas where it is most difficult to demonstrate superior skills.

Speaking at Citywire Montreux 2015, Rasmus Ankersen, author of ‘The Gold Mine Effect’, said innovative people need to have the courage to change even at the height of their powers or face difficulties further down the line.

Ankersen, who advises businessmen and athletes around the world, stressed the need to keep your ears open for ‘talent that whispers’ that can drive long-term performance.
