5th: Dorval Manageurs Europe 

Returns over three years: 50.5% as of May 2018

Fund managers: Louis Bert and Stéphane Furet

Fund size: CHF 1.02 billion

The Dorval Manageurs Europe fund is managed by Louis Bert and Stéphane Furet, who are both Citywire AA-rated. 

The fund has achieved returns of 50.5% over the past three years, and has performed above its sector average since early 2016.

4th: Loys Europa System I

Returns over three years: 50.8% as of May 2018

Fund manager: Ufuk Boydak

Fund size: CHF 323 million

The Loys Europa System fund has managed to inch ahead of Dorval's equity fund, with returns of 50.8% over three years. 

The fund is managed by Ufuk Boydak, who has been Citywire AAA-rated since January 2018.

3rd: Comgest Growth Europe Opportunities

Returns over three years: 55.3% as of May 2018

Fund managers: Eva Fornadi, Rebecca Kaddoum and Franz Weis

Fund size: CHF 2.6 billion

The Comgest Growth Europe Opportunities fund is managed by the trio of Eva Fornadi, Rebecca Kaddoum and Franz Weis. Fornadi is Citywire AAA-rated, while Kaddoum holds an AA rating.

The fund has landed returns of 55.3% over the past three years and has consistently outperformed its sector average.

2nd: Alpora Innovations Europa Fonds

Returns over three years: 58.5% as of May 2018

Fund managers: Birgit Heim and Patrick Hofer

Fund size: CHF 90.6 million

The Alpora Innovations Europa fund takes second place with returns of 58.5% over the past three years. As of May 2018, the fund was outperforming its sector average by nearly 40 percentage points. 

It is managed by Birgit Heim, who is Citywire AA-rated, and Patrick Hofer, who holds a AAA rating.

Fund manager: Rieter Fischer Partners

Fund size: CHF 52.9 million 

The Arnica European Opportunity fund takes first place in this rundown, with impressive returns of 87.6% over the past three years. It has performed above its benchmark since late 2015, but recently soared 67.7 percentages points higher than the sector average. 

The fund's manager is undisclosed, but it is controlled by Rieter Fischer Partners.
