Valuation opportunities in European telecoms, says JPM equity star

JP Morgan Asset Management’s Jonathan Ingram has rotated out of European pharmaceuticals into telecoms to benefit from the latter’s better valuation and upside potential.

Citywire AA-rated Ingram, who co-manages the JP Morgan Euroland Dynamic fund with John Baker and Anis Lahlou-Abid, said the profit decline of leading telecommunication companies, such as Orange, France Telecom and Telefonica, has now started to flatten out.

Also in this video, Ingram discusses his best and worst plays over the course of 2014, as well as tapping into which companies and sectors will be the main beneficiaries of the oil price drop.
