Zug-based wealth manager Addfin is set to support the development of a service platform for asset managers, the firm has announced.
The platform was first introduced by BDO in October and aims to help asset managers when it comes to new requirements under regulations such as MiFID II and FinSA/FinIA.
The new service combines a RegTech tool with more traditional offerings, including compliance and risk management. It also consists of different modules that asset managers can pick individually or as part of a package tailored to their specific needs.
Under the deal, Addfin will contribute its digital compliance service package to the platform. Peter Hegglin, CEO of the digital wealth manager, said this partnership will help the firm position itself as an expert in regulatory issues.
Earlier in May Zurich-based fintech provider for wealth managers Addfin has struck a cooperation with a UK-based research house ResearchPool allowing invest0rs to access to more than 160 research providers and more than 300,000 research papers in areas such as equity, credit, technical analysis and SRI.
