Zurich-based asset manager Bellecapital Partners has hired Marc Delnon to build up its family office services and UHNWI business.
Delnon spent the past 14 years at Credit Suisse where he was a member of the UHNWI Northern & Eastern European management committee and managed various teams across European markets.
He also chaired the UHNWI investment committee at the private bank in 2015-2016.
According to a spokesperson for Bellecapital Partners, Delnon will help continue the company's work with institutional investors in developing a new client group and expanding its product range.
Delnon brings with him the distribution rights for the DRI strategy from private debt impact investing company DRI.
DRI is certified by the US Department of Treasury and Delnon is an advisory board member. Through its performing and non-performing mortgage strategy, DRI aims to make a positive social impact.
Commenting on the importance of impact investing, Delnon said: ‘Impact investing requires a rigorous selection process, target setting and guidance in order to be able to help making a long term positive impact on society and people’s life.’
‘The approach may be different but the process needs to be as disciplined as in corporate lending to achieve the best outcome for the borrower, the lender and the investor.’
