Devan Kaloo graduated with an MA in Management and International Relations from the University of St Andrews and an MSc in Investment Analysis from the University of Stirling. Devan is currently the head of global emerging markets at Aberdeen Asset Management and is responsible for the London-based team. He joined Aberdeen in 2000 where he started on the Asian portfolio team before taking on emerging market mandates.

Objective

The Fund's investment objective is long-term total return to be achieved by investing at least two-thirds of the Fund's assets in equities and equity-related securities of companies with their registered office and/ or, of companies which have the preponderance of their business activities and/or, of holding companies that have the preponderance of their assets in companies with their registered office in a Latin American country.
