Jose Berros was born in Casablanca, Morocco. He studied in France at the Université des Sciences Economiques where he graduated with an MA in finance. He started at Ernst & Young as an auditor, and then moved to Banque du Louvre (HSBC) where he managed a private equity venture fund. In 2005 he joined Financière de l’Echiquier and took charge of the Echiquier Neteor (merged with Echiquier Junior in November 2008) and 123 Convictions. Outside of fund management he likes to unwind by playing tennis and listening to music.
Stéphanie Bobtcheff holds a degree from Sciences Po Paris as well as from Bocconi University in Milan and the Centre de Formation à l’Analyse Financière. She has over 18 years of experience in the finance industry. She joined Financière de l’Echiquier in September 2013 as a fund manager in the “valeurs moyennes” team. Prior to this, Stéphanie worked as a fund manager at Indosuez Asset Management, Crédit Agricole Asset Management, Oddo Asset Management and spent six years in Geneva at Pascal Investment Advisers.
Guillaume Puech joined La Financière de l’Echiquier in 2011 as a financial analyst. In July 2013, he became co-manager of Echiquier Value and manager of Echiquier Excelsior, a European small-cap value fund. He joined the small and mid-cap team, with €1.3 billion euros under management, at the end of 2014 to co-manage Echiquier Agenor and Echiquier Entrepreneurs.
The Sub-Fund invests at least 85% of its assets in the units of the Master Fund "Echiquier Entrepreneurs", as defined in the prospectus of the Master Fund, i.e. capitalization units. The up to 15% residual assets of the Sub-Fund are invested in ancillary liquid assets only as may be required from time to time for dealing liquidity purposes and payment of costs and expenses of the Sub-Fund. The Master Fund is a dynamic UCITS seeking long-term perfor-mance through the exposure to European equities of small and micro capitalisation.
