Evy Bellet

Evy Bellet was born in Munich in 1960. She started her career in 1986 at FINACOR Borsen und Wertpapiermaklet GmbH as a Eurobonds trader and took long term maternity leave from 1997 to 1999 before returning to the industry in 1999 as a securities trader at Bank Julius Baer. Bellet joined Julius Baer Kapitalanlagegesellschaft AG in 2002 where she was responsible for segregated mandates. In 2003 she joined MainFirst Bank AG where she is currently a portfolio manager. Bellet has been managing funds for over nine years and passed the Exchange Trader examination from the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Outside of fund management she enjoys golf, tennis, soccer and music.

Alexander Dominicus

Alexander Dominicus joined MainFirst in August 2009. He is part of the Top European Ideas Fund and Germany Fund investment team as a portfolio manager. Previously, Alexander did a trainee programme at MainFirst working at various departments including international work experience in London and New York. Alexander did a banking apprenticeship and holds a degree in business administration with focus on Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and Emory University Goizueta Business School.

Olgerd Eichler

Olgerd Eichler has become one of Germany’s best known fund managers in recent years, after being showered with awards for his performance with a range of global and north American equity funds. Eichler joined the German group Union Investment in 2000 after five and a half years in the treasury and private banking departments of Citibank AG, and then moved to MainFirst in 2007. The US has proved a profitable hunting ground for Eichler, who gained his MBA in finance while studying there. He is one of few managers who has consistently outperformed the S&P 500 Index. ‘We are investors and not just short term traders’, he says about his management philosophy. He now runs the MainFirst - Top European Ideas and Classic Stock funds.

Alexander Lippert

Alexander Lippert joined Mainfirst as a junior portfolio manager in 2017. He provides support in stock selection, trading and portfolio management. Before joining the group he gained experience in the financial sector through several internships, among others at MainFirst Bank in the area of asset management, at DZ Bank in equity research and at Heraeus Metals in controlling. Lippert studied economics and minored in business studies at the University of Mannheim, which included a semester at HEC Lausanne.

Objective

The sub fund seeks to outperform the share index STOXX EUROPE 600 TR in EUR. To achieve the objective, the sub fund invests primarily in shares and other equity-related securities of companies worldwide, although the investment focus lies on European companies (at least 75% of investments) . Depending on the actual situation, the investment focus may be on large-cap companies or also on small and mid caps.
