About Marco Ruijer

Marco Ruijer is lead portfolio manager in the EMD Hard Currency team within the EMD boutique of NN Investment Partners. He is responsible for the EMD hard currency portfolios. Prior to his current role, he was a senior fund manager for EMD at Mn Services, responsible for the internal EMD portfolios. He joined Mn Services in 1998, initially as an investment trainee. He then became a member of the investment strategy and risk management team in 2000, before taking up the roles of fund manager in 2002 and senior fund manager for EMD in 2006. He holds a MSc in international financial economics from the University of Amsterdan. Marco is also a CFA charterholder.
