The Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (BCV) has appointed two new members to its board of directors, who are expected to fill their positions during the annual general meeting on 26 April 2018.
Fabienne Freymond Cantone and Jean-François Schwarz will replace Luc Recordon, who will be stepping down from BCV’s board, and current vice president Paul-André Sanglard, whose mandate will end on 31 December 2018.
Cantone previously worked at Arthur Andersen and Banca della Svizzera Italiana, and was a member of the Vaud cantonal parliament. Prior to his 2017 retirement, Schwarz had been a member of BCV’s executive board, responsible for its corporate banking division.
The Banque Cantonale Vaudoise is a Swiss cantonal bank which is part of the 24 cantonal banks serving Switzerland's 26 cantons. The headquarters are located in Lausanne. Total assets of the bank were in 2016 CHF 43 billion.
