EI Sturdza Investment Funds has launched a new fund for its founder, Eric Sturdza, to capture the opportunities in family-owned businesses, Citywire Switzerland's sister title Citywire Selector has revealed.
The new strategy is called Sturdza Family Fund and invests primarily in equities and bonds globally. The strategy’s exposure to equities will be between 51-80%, while its fixed income portion will be limited to 20-49%.
The fund is not allowed to invest in subordinated bonds with no fixed maturity or with optional or non-cumulative coupon payments, including CoCo bonds. It can invest in Ucits ETFs up to 10% of its volume.
The group's second new strategy is called the Strategic Bond Fund and is managed by EI Sturdza's head of fixed income Eric Vanraes.
