Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management’s co-head of European equity has left the firm and relinquished responsibility for €1.8 billion worth of funds, Citywire Selector can reveal.
Pierre Nebout (pictured) has called timed on his 15 years with the group this month and has been replaced in his role by Marc Halperin. Halperin has been named as co-head of European alongside Philippe Lecoq.
Halperin also replaces Nebout on the €1.3 billion Edmond de Rothschild Tricolore Rendement fund. He will work alongside Francois Breton and Ariane Hayate.
In a statement to Citywire Selector, EdRAM thanked Nebout for his work in developing the European equity unit and welcomed his replacement, who has been with the firm for almost a decade.
The EDR Fund Income Europe fund returned 14.5% in euro terms over the three years to the end of September, while the LCI Mixed Asset EUR Bal – Europe rose 9.3% over the same period.
Meanwhile, the Edmond de Rothschild Tricolore returned 15.9% in euro terms over the same period, against a 38% rise by its Citywire-assigned benchmark, the SBF 120 TR.
