The Schroders ISF Asian Opportunities fund is managed by Citywire AA-rated Toby Hudson (pictured) and A-rated Robin Parbrook.

Hudson got his first Citywire rating, an AAA, in March 2012 and lost it in July 2013. He regained it in March 2014 and has been consistently rated since then. He also manages the Schroder ISF Hong Kong Equity fund. 

Parbrook started his career at Schroders in 1990 and has been leading the Asia ex-Japan fund management team since 2005. He earned his first Citywire rating in July 2010 and is also managing the Schroder ISF Asian Total Return fund.

The fund’s assets are mostly allocated to the financials and IT sectors. Consumer discretionary is however the biggest overweight with 20.3% compared with the benchmark’s 12.2%.

The fund allocates mostly to Hong Kong and China at 54.7%, followed by India at 12.2% and Taiwan at 11%.

The top holdings are Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, Samsung Electronics and Tencent Holdings.
