Geneva-based IG Bank S.A. has officially expanded into German-speaking Switzerland, opening a new office in Zurich's Paradeplatz.
CEO Fouad Bajjali said in a press release that the additional office in the German financial hub comes in response to client demand.
‘Our customer relationships have grown steadily and expanded. In the German speaking part of Switzerland we see an increasing need from our customers to be able to personally meet with specialists,’ Bajjali said.
IG Bank also said it is collaborating with the Swiss Association of Market Technicians (SAMT) to offer a free technical analysis programme for investors and traders. IG Bank’s website says the six-seminar programme will help participants prepare for the Diploma of Certified Financial Techician (CFTe) exam.
The program will be led by SAMT president Patrick Pfister and retired Credit Suisse managing director Rolf Bertschi, who has since founded FinChartOutlook.
