3. GAM Multistock Asia Focus Equity

Fund manager: Jian Shi Cortesi

Fund size: CHF 121.7 million

Returns over three years: 31.3% as of 31 October 2018

The fund is managed by Jian Shi Cortesi, who holds a Citywire A-rating and has been consistently rated since January 2014. She is based in Zurich.

The fund seeks to achieve long-term capital growth by investing in a concentrated portfolio across Asia ex Japan.

The fund has recorded returns of 31.1% over the past three years compared with the benchmark’s 22.5%.

This fund is managed by AA-rated Manish Modi, who is based in Singapore. Modi has been consistently rated since April 2016, maintaining an AAA-rating streak from mid-2017 to mid-2018.

The fund's selection of companies is mainly based upon the following quality criteria: strategic orientation, strength of market position, quality of management, soundness of earnings, growth potential and potential for improving shareholder value. Diversification is achieved via a mix of countries.

This fund is managed by A-rated Quynh Le Yen, who is based in Ho Chi Minh City. She has been Citywire rated since October 2016.

The fund invests in a portfolio of primarily equity securities of companies operating in Vietnam or with significant exposure to Vietnam. These companies may have any market capitalisation and operate in any industry.
