Hoffmeyer managed the Pictet-Digital fund, having joined the company in 2012.
Alice de Lamaze will replace Lecamp as manager of the Pictet-Nutrition fund. She previously managed the Pictet-Premium Brands fund.
Despite losing two key managers, the thematics team is prepared to bring Olivier Djopwouo and Stanislas Effront into the team. The pair will join the Pictet-Digital fund, and Louis Veilleux and Peter Lawrence will be added to the Pictet-Water team.
Djopwouo started his career at Pictet in 2013 as a senior analyst for long-short investment strategies. He previously worked at HSBC and Capital Group.
Veilleux previously worked as a senior investment manager for Pictet Asset Management and as a financial analyst for Pictet Wealth Management.
Lawrence joined the firm in 2015 and has been a part of the Pictet-Nutrition team since 2017.
The firm confirmed in a statement that the investment philosophies guiding these funds will remain the same.
