Syz Wealth Management has named Yasmina Barin as head of advisory following the departure of Stephan Germann.
Germann's move to join Geneva-based independent asset management firm Plurigestion as its new CIO was announced last week.
The former head of advisory stepped down from his role after a one-year spell at Banque Syz, which he joined in September 2016.
Barin, the former deputy head of advisory, takes over Germann's role. She joined Syz’s wealth management arm to set up the new advisory offering in February 2015.
Prior to that, Barin spent nine years in the group’s asset management business, covering global consumer sectors and contributing to the management of various investment strategies, including the multi-asset funds.
Barin first joined Syz in 2006.
