SYZ Group has appointed Sédar Piller as head of independent asset managers for its Zurich office, Citywire Switzerland has confirmed.
Pillar previously worked as a relationship manager for SYZ for about four years, following his near three-year stint as assistant vice-president of Bank J. Safra Sarasin.
SYZ also launched a new European income fund, as reported by Citywire Switzerland’s sister publication Wealth Manager.
The fund will be managed by Citywire A-rated manager Michael Clements, and will target a yield of 10% above the MSCI Europe Ex-UK index. It will have a focus on ‘underinvested’ value opportunities.
