A new investor has joined Enterpreneur Partners to strengthen its board of directors, the Zurich-based firm has announced.
Urs Wietlisbach, who is one of the founding members at Partners Group, will use his financial expertise to support expansion at the asset manager.
Wietlisbach said independent advisory, combined with an interest in different investment opportunities, contribute to a strong position in the market.
‘I particularly like how Entrepreneur Partners enhances its expertise in equities in Switzerland, Germany and Austria with non-traditional investment opportunities in the area of private markets, insurance and real estate, generating real added value for its clients,' he said.
Oliver Ganz, co-founder and CEO of Entrepreneur Partners, added that Wietlisbach is a valuable addition to the team with his entrepreneurial and investment experience and an extensive network in the industry.
‘The investment environment has grown considerably more complex over the past few years, which is why we will continue to strengthen our company’s know how in the area of non-traditional investments. Urs Wietlisbach will be able to lend tremendous support in this regard,’ said Ganz.
At the moment board of directors of Enterpreneur Partners includes chairman Werner Dubach, who is also member of the board of directors at colour-management solutions firm Datacolor and industrial holding Conzzeta.
