Zurich-based independent firm Bellecapital International has bolstered its US team with the hire of Jared Metzger as portfolio manager.
Also joining the team is Jeff Sullivan who will work on the client side.
The hires come as the SEC registered asset management company furthers its commitment to US clients.
Prior to his new position, Metzger spent nine years at Bank of America, most recently as a fixed income portfolio manager responsible for a portion of the bank’s $600 billion discretionary portfolio.
Sullivan has 13 years’ experience in private wealth management in the US and Europe and has formerly worked at JP Morgan managing private and institutional assets.
Before joining Bellecaptial, he worked at Credit Suisse as a private banker, managing assets for UK resident non-domiciled and European clients.
On the new hires, managing director at Bellecapital Curtis Childs said: ‘Expanding the team with qualified professionals with a deep understanding of US culture, the IRS tax code and how to do business with Americans has been a priority for Bellecapital from inception.
‘Our objective is to build the best business in Switzerland servicing the needs of US connected clients.’
