Zurich-based asset management firm Veraison Capital has appointed a new CEO, the firm has announced.
Andreas Weigelt will start in his new role on 1 March 2018 and will also become a senior partner at the firm.
He succeeds Gregor Greber, who remains with the firm.
Weigelt currently works for EgoKiefer, a business that produces windows and doors within the Swiss construction group Arbonia.
Prior to that, he served as head of strategy for the Arbonia Group and was also involved in its restructuring.
He previously spent more than seven years at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he was a member of the Swiss leadership team for industrial goods.
Veraison is also set to appoint Michael Barben as a new member of the board of directors. He has been with Partners Group for 17 years and is currently an operating partner at the firm.
He has worked to develop the firm's private infrastructure, which had CHF 8.6 billion in assets in June 2017.
